Tower Bridge is one of the most important monuments of London. Opened in 1894, is a drawbridge that raises the sections for ships and yachts pass through it toward the port area just upstream of Tower Bridge.
When sighting a yacht or a boat, cars and vehicles passing by the road must stop immediately to the river traffic has priority.
The bridge has two towers suspended by wires and joined by a high-level walkway. It was designed for pedestrians to cross the river even when the bridge was open and you can still walk through it in those days.
Parliament House and THE Big Ben
The Palace of Westminster is the headquarters of the British Houses of Parliament and is right on the river Thames.
